Fortran 90/95 explained

In this book, an initial chapter sets out the background to the work on the new standards, and the ten following chapters describe Fortran 90/95 less the obsolescent features in a manner suitable both for grasping the implications of the new features, and for writing programs. Features that are available in Fortran 95 only are labelled as such. It is our hope that this book, by providing a complete description of Fortran 90 and Fortran 95, will continue the helpful role that earlier editions played for the Fortran 90 standard, and will serve as a long-term reference work for Fortran 95 into the next decade.
